$857 million cut from VA

One day after congress allowed the Zadroga Act to expire which would leave more than 70,000 victims and first responders of 9/11 with no long term health care the GOP majority in the Senate cut $857 million from the VA which will cut medical benifits for our Veterans. We have tgese traitors in Washington telling us how much they respect and appreciate the sacrifices of our military and our veterans and then in the next breath they deny us the health care that we earned, that they swore to us we would recieve. I'm so pissed words will not convey my anger. I served honorably in two branches of the Armed Forces and the only timed id pick up a weapon for this nation is to shoot those lying two faced bastards in the head. If anyone reading this is thinking or knows anyone thinking of joining the military, you better think again. This is how they treat you after you put your life on the line for these tratiorist assholes. They give more care and benifits to illegal aliens than our veterans. I'm voting every single one of these bastards out of office and I hope you will do the same thing.

  • Michael M. Regan,

Wow.  Just - wow.   I knew that we Vets were gonna take a hit (mainly because of the refugees) for this fiscal year, but nothing like this extremism.   There has to be a solution to this - although there's no quick fix.

    • Morning Star. There's no other way to look at this and the other things this administration is doing than to realize this is an all out war on those of us who are Americans. I don't think anyone can look logically at what's happening and come to a differant conclusion. That being said, what do we realistically do? Emailing, tweeting, voicing our concerns will do nothing in my opinion. I don't even think showing up in DC and protesting will do anything. When you screw those who have faithfully served, what's left? I'll tell you, "Screw everyone else"!
I've about come to the end of my rope with the idea that peaceful protests, stating our greviences, contacting our represenatives, talking to the Media, talking to local represenatives and the like is going to do ANYTHING to change the course of these traitors. Listen I think we all know by now that they are not going to listen to or heed a word we say. So I think we would do well together or individually to consider the only other option which is resistance. You can read between the lines to get what I am saying but it's down to resisting these traitors by any means necessary. I i think it's not just for our freedom but for our very existence.
      • Michael M. Regan,

After your mention of $857 million being cut from Veterans' funding, I can only, ever so sadly, conclude that the deaths of more than 300,000 thousand Veterans on a waiting list for healthcare was intentional.

You have certainly asked the right question: 'What do we realistically do?'  It would be a great start to stare down every American the way Netanyahu stared down the members of the United Nations and pose these questions to each of them.

As it stands now, I think that the only option is to resist.  I don't know how to accomplish that personally, unless they come to my door and attempt to assassinate me and my dog. I'm too old and too sick to run on out into a civil war scenario.  And I have not seen or heard of any particular militia in America ready or able to challenge the current Communist/Socialist coup anyway.

The system has set us up to kill us off and replace us Patriots with another population - that is why the refugees have been forced in upon us.  So killing us off would be merely collateral damage.

I truly hope and pray that another solution to what is before us happens sooner than later.
