Vital information.  Thank you, Twana.

It's not Lidocaine®, nor will it provide any anesthesia or, even, analgesia.  It is, however, a very good irrigant for infected wounds; it stops infection but doesn't kill healthy cells like iodine and phenol.

And, for Heaven's sake, don't inject it!

So.....I'm confused.  What is the Dakins Solution used for?  "And for heaven's sake don't inject" what?

Dakin's solution is an antiseptic wound irrigant (cleaning solution).  It is used to clean wounds which are infected or likely to become so.  Dakin's solution is not injectable.

Thanks!  :-)

Twana, I did that's why I needed to ask the question.  Got it figured out now.  Apparently my mind won't handle two topics at one time!  Getting old and it's startin' to show!

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live" shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
