ICYMI: White House talks veto threat because TRICARE fee hikes eliminated

It’s called caring for our troops and veterans in DC:
The Obama administration on Friday threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill in part because it does not include higher health care fees for members of the military.
“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation,” the White House wrote in an official policy statement expressing opposition to the bill, which the House approved in May.
President Obama’s most recent budget proposal includes billions of dollars in higher fees for members of TRICARE, the military health care system, and is part of the administration’s plan to cut nearly $500 billion from the Pentagon’s budget.

Take away all medical benefits from anyone in the government, President included and make them provide their own insurance. Cut it off now!!!! These military men and women risk their lives daily for this country and this fascist would charge them more for their medical benefits while he and his wife spend millions on their numerous vacations and frivalities....the current occupant of the White House is not my President and never will be. He is usurper in chief. As far as I am concerned this country has been without a President for the past three and a half years. Please register to vote....right this minute....and get this fraud out of our Capital....Please, for the sake of America, in the name of God, vote him out.

AMEN, I was about to say the same things, our military fight for our freedom, get wounded, injured, ptsd and lose limbs and brain matter for that skinny ass in the big white house for less than 1/3 his pay and he has the nerve to cut what little benefits they get so he can provide AFFORDABLE health care for less than 2% of the population that doesn't already have "affordable" health care. DAMN! I paid for our babies to be born! We survived w/o heath care and it all was cheaper. It was providing health care that drove the costs up! I hate his bigoted, communist policies more each day. I can't wait for Nov and especially January when we get rid of him for good.
EQUAL DISTRIBUTION MY BUTT! All he is doing is taking from the middle-class, not the WEALTHIEST otherwise he would pay his own way instead of taking our hard earned money and giving it the less fortunate. At least THEY get food stamps, we just get the bills. I'm om SSI that I paid into for 45 years and he wants to cut that for affordable health care for illegals...

On the Blaze yesterday someone posted a link to Newt's website which has a story that biden may be our President for the last few months of the year. He says that through FOA filings the group who's got the suit quietly going before the supreme court, has obtained his records from Occidental College which says he applied as a "Foreign Student" for preferred status in applying! Border Patrol agents in Arizona are blasting their bosses for telling them, along with all other Department of Homeland Security employees, to run and hide if they encounter an "active shooter."
It's one thing to tell civilian employees to cower under a desk if a gunman starts spraying fire in a confined area, say members of Tucson Local 2544/National Border Patrol Council, but to give armed law enforcement professionals the same advice is downright insulting. The instructions from DHS come in the form of pamphlets and a mandatory computer tutorial.
“We are now taught in an ‘Active Shooter’ course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to ‘run away’ and ‘hide’" union leader Brandon Judd wrote on the website of 3,300-member union local. “If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become ‘aggressive’ and ‘throw things’ at him or her. We are then advised to ‘call law enforcement’ and wait for their arrival (presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered)."
The FEMA-administered computer course, entitled “IS-907- Active Shooter: What You Can Do,” is a 45-minute tutorial that provides guidance to all employees on how to recognize indicators of possible workplace violence and what to do should their office be invaded by gunmen and focuses around three main options; either evacuate, hide out, or in dire circumstances, take action.

The US government released its latest report on religious freedom in Spain.
Prepared by the US State Department, the report is an annual survey of how religious tolerance and freedoms fare in different nations across the world.

A Saudi court sentenced two Asian housemaids to 10 years in jail and ordered their lashed 1,000 times each after they were found guilty of indulging in sorcery at their employers’ houses in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Monday.
