Secretary of State John Kerry said at Wednesday’s hearing that Arab counties have offered to pay for the entirety of unseating President Bashar al-Assad if the United States took the lead militarily.
“With respect to Arab countries offering to bear costs and to assess, the answer is profoundly yes,” Kerry said. “They have. That offer is on the table.”
Asked by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) about how much those countries would contribute, Kerry said they have offered to pay for all of a full invasion.
“In fact, some of them have said that if the United States is prepared to go do the whole thing the way we’ve done it previously in other places, they’ll carry that cost,” Kerry said. “That’s how dedicated they are at this. That’s not in the cards, and nobody’s talking about it, but they’re talking in serious ways about getting this done.

Kerry and McCain left behind hundreds of soldiers from the Vietnam War. Soldiers at the Hanoi Hilton came home. The soldiers at the other prison camps have been MIA for over 40 years. They have refused to help family follow up on sightings of men in slave labor camps. We must bring home those left behind, the true heroes.

We are supposed to believe we have just been given data which should give us cause to seriously consider supporting going to war. What is natural and normal for Kerry and the fascists he caucuses with is the putting forth of just enough information to suggest good cause while deliberately withholding all data which completes the picture, showing the whole of the possible outcome, and includes the pertinent aspects.
More than anything else, we must ask just exactly what could we gain from going to war when we are not going to win it, we have no plan to do anything but ensure the current "president" becomes "the past", and to do so, we have to take the side of the very groups we've been fighting in the middle east since I was a Lance Corporal.
Kerry didn't mention it is the Saud's who will finance the demise of their enemies, and they will do so exactly because they have no capability of doing it themselves. He didn't mention we lose if Assad remains in place and gains presumptive power by survival, the issue of Iran controlling Syria no matter how it falls out, and particularly, if we support the rebels and they win, we will have installed proxies of Iran directly into power, instead of having a secular government which is hated by Iran precisely because it only allies with Iran's choices when Syria stands to gain, and will not ally with them for religious purposes.
We should remember Kerry spent almost four months in Vietnam, was sent home because he was such a hero in four months, they didn't think Vietnam would survive his being allowed to rampage as he described to congress, across the whole of the country, and his legacy is his account of his own "wholesale slaughter of families, cows, pigs, goats and all", his "free fire zone where he and his men routinely walked into villages and fired fully automatic into all the huts with the intent of killing all.
He is clearly the most qualified leader of an all volunteer corps to enter Syria, perhaps reminiscent of his multitudinous "night drops" with "special forces" in Nam, I expect he and a few hundred of the well trained and prepared Washington elite armed to the teeth, dropped by chopper would quickly end the stand-off, and as Secretary of State, he would be in position to immediately begin negotiation with the rebel government he would be helping to stand up.
Perhaps we should consider all our elected and appointed officials, their skills, such as Janet Reno, and make up this "all volunteer force" to include all those who eagerly run guns into Mexico, run chemical weapons to the rebels, make up the whole of "homeland security", this being a worthy test of whether they can cut it as a defense force.
The IRS has routinely invaded with armies, the NSA has its expertise, the BATF, the EPA, the army against whole milk, these members of government have much practice in invasions, and have yet to earn their pay. We should simply petition the whole of the force to invade be led by Kerry, and consist of the "alphabet soup agencies" as the warriors to wage this invasion since they envision it and see it as a "cake walk".
Americans are fed up with our government invading our homes, those who hold their home as "their castle" being killed or wounded, and jailed, all the rest having to sit quietly while strangers tear up their home, and so often, must go to jail, be arraigned, get a court date, before being determined not to have been the intended target, but an accidental one.
Sending SWAT and all the agencies of Washington to Syria would alleviate any possibility of erroneous choice of homes, and they would get real time experience in being real warriors, and with any luck, they would all remain in Syria.
Seriously folks, if it is time for an invasion of a foreign nation, it is long overdue for the "warrior invaders" to be the exact people who have concluded this is a necessity, and cannot be avoided. Some two to three percent of Americans serve as our Military, and the opinion of those who do is little regarded when the question arises as to what can be gained by such action. Let us call upon our Senators, their staff, the representatives, the bureaus, perhaps simply rounding up the whole of government and sending them over, as being the first time since the second world war the advocates actually get "skin in the game". I met Syria, back in 82 in Beirut. Peace has been mostly kept in the mid-east by ever competing desire to control. We gained nothing at all, did no real lasting good interfering then, and at a great cost.
Let those who believe it in their interest be the ones who take on the charge, and go. There is nothing to be gained for any American by our interference. Our previous interference means our sole gain is if the rebels and the state end up fighting for years, stale-mated, it is the sole way we can benefit from what is taking place.

There is No for-give-ness what the un-American people voted for..! At 17 trillion dollars in debt, death and suicides of our military~~I'm drawing the Red--Line in the sand to protect my children..!! The warrior invaders are coming across our southern border as we speak..!! Mixed with Mexican's..!! I'm sticking with my Knock, knock story, as maybe in the near future I'll be investigated..!!
