Media Ignoring Veterans Call For Impeachment

(Editor’s Note: They may be battle worn and virtually media-ignored; some of them may need canes and walkers from the crippling wounds they suffered in serving their country to get there. Others on the march to the Washington Monument on 11.11.11carry wounds and worries of the heart.  They count on word of mouth in “openly calling for the American people to draw a final line in the sand and take a moral and righteous stand for the Constitutional Republic.”  Their faith that America won’t be fundamentally transformed into a Socialist State is unflagging and they count on YOU to be there. A handful of perpetual malcontents with their hand out make headline news in every newsroom in America for weeks on end. The 3% who want a free ride on taxpayers back can get coverage anytime they want from the Goebbels-like American media.

 

But where is the press coverage on a Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic issued by thousands of Military Veterans and millions of patriotic taxpayers across the country? I hear crickets…

 

Since the American press has become little more than a bull horn for the Obama administration and the International Left, I suppose it makes sense that thousands of Veterans calling for Obama‚'s impeachment is not newsworthy in the modern American newsroom. After all, the last time thousands of patriotic Americans stood up to the federal government with veterans at the helm, it turned into the first American Civil War.

 

In fact, we have come to expect and even accept the reality that the American press is in the propaganda business, rather than the news business. Even FOX News, albeit “fair and balanced” - is no longer truthful or accurate in its reporting.

 

But, what about the new online medium—the so-called conservative blogosphere? The best coverage has come from outside the USA, from Canada Free Press. Inside the USA, it has come from World Net Daily, Right Side News and Post & Email.

 

From Newsmax, American Thinker, American Spectator, Townhall, Drudge and many others?—Nothing—zippo—nada… and from the conservative TV and radio personalities?—Crickets again!

 

This means that this is a true grassroots patriot operation, led by American Veterans and joined by real American patriots who learned about it by word of mouth and joined the event because they believe that the time has come to draw a clear line in the sand.

 

As demonstrated by the list of common average Americans that nobody ever heard of supporting the 11.11.11 event in D.C., this is not the average event seen over the last few years. There will be no quarter-million dollar stage, sound and lights production—no $100k-$200k marque speakers in million dollar buses or two-million dollar planes.

 

At this event on Veterans Day in D.C. at the Washington Monument, the veterans are the stars of the show. There will be no Vegas Strip atmosphere, and no big outdoor concert setting. The people coming to D.C. on 11.11.11 are not coming for a show, but with a very specific purpose.

 

In their nationwide Call-to-Action, the veterans put it quite succinctly;

We CALL upon every member of federal, state and local government, legislative, judicial, law enforcement and military, who have taken an oath to protect and defend the Constitutional Republic from all enemies, foreign and domestic, to act upon those oaths for the stated purpose of restoring the Constitutional Republic.

We CALL upon ALL veterans and veteran organizations in America, who still believe in their oath to protect and defend, to unite with us at once - in this Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic.

We CALL for ALL citizens who still desire freedom and liberty, to stand with us in peaceful protest, and carry our demands to right the wrongs against our nation in the preservation of freedom, liberty, justice and the rule of law.

Decorated officers, service members and law enforcement concerned about the direction of our country will be the keynote speakers at this event, even if they have to speak through a bull horn.

 

The Event is to begin with a muster time of 0600 at the Washington Monument with an event starting time of 0800. The schedule for the event is fluid; an unknown number plan to attend from all across the country. The people can speak at this event, namely the veterans.

 

There will be no campaign speeches, no pleas for donations, no sale of tee-shirts or hats and if anyone performs, they will do so on a volunteer basis, not for pay.

 

The group comes in peace, and they call upon all American veterans and patriots to do the same, leaving the event grounds in better shape than they find it. The event is not the end, but rather marks the beginning of an ongoing effort to enforce the Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic. The veterans have never lost the will to stand by their oaths to protect and defend and they never will.

 

Nobody has to pay them to come, they come of their own free will, not to start a war, but in an effort to avoid another Civil War, by demanding that all elected officials begin to live by their oaths as well.

 

The press will not help. Even many in the conservative blogosphere will not help. Some are even taking pot shots at the veterans for their willingness to make a stand on 11.11.11… but that will not weaken the resolve of these veterans, not on 11.11.11 or any other day.

 

The event will unfold on the ground in D.C. on 11.11.11 and I hope it will be the shot heard across the nation, if not around the world. If not now, when? If not standing with the veterans, with who?

 

If not peacefully, then how?

People have always looked out for themselves.  Let someone else do it.  Unfortunately I cannot attend or I would be there.  People prefer to keep their heads in the sand just like the Germans did.  I fear that there will be chaos when election time in 2012 arrives.  This ows is a practice run on how much Americans will take.  Remember when people were killed by janut reno?  Did anyone demand her removal?  No.  Koresh was billed by the media as a kook.  People were gutless then and they will be gutless now.  Remember Ruby Ridge?  Sharp shooter kills the Weaver woman holding baby.  So much for defending our rights and Constitution.  I am worried we will be facing a bloody November 2012.  obozo is setting up the scenario for a crisis.  The drill is taking place disguised as a protest known as ows thieves and thugs.

What can one expect of the Press? How will they report the facts after we boot Obama and take back the Congress? Even if none of them resign of their own free will, we will take back our country and then we can deal with a leftist press the same way we will deal with Congress and Obama.  No news will be good news especially if we are controlling the news sources.  We can play Obama's game even better than he has. I will be there.

here should be enough bloggers and free lance folks to start some new gazettes and news agencies; after which we can turn off, choke and shut down these accomplices to the destruction of the Country Where TAKE FOR GRANTED  THE BREAD and BUTTER They Have Earned, a good part of which has been while lying to their readership and listeners.  The Gallows is surely ravenous for the editors of the NY Times.

Richard...I agree with most of your comment. I do not think anyone should control the media. I believe people need to stay informed and reconize when they are not being told everything, and especially when they are being lied to. I just want to hold them accountable for the truth just as I would expect of my wife, children and best friends. The media is responsiable for reporting the truth, and to help put national pressure on our representatives by exposing their lies but most of them won't do it. They have a responsibility to control themselves otherwise we should turn it off. I seldom watch any news on TV anymore because it is all based on their agenda; not on giving information to the public that we need to act in our own lives and communities accordingly.

Not from any of us but you may have heard it and even seen some of that from the OWS prostester groups. They want a reveloution. The media want cover all of who is behind the so called "movement" If you go the the Blaze.com they have a list of several (not all inclusive) impressive (NOT) organizations. Hopefully the next great awakening will put some fuel in their hearts and get out and help those of us who believe in the rule of law and the orginal Constitution. I'm praying every day for my country and ask that all of you do the same. Maybe if we get enough people praying God will see that we are still worthy of his blessings.
