Today, Liberty Institute filed a motion in district court on behalf of the VFWto intervene in the Mojave Desert War Memorial lawsuit.
Right now, it is up to the Obama administration to defend the Mojave Desert Cross against the ACLU in the same district court that ordered the cross covered from view years ago!
Infact, this judge gave the government and the ACLU 90 days to broker adeal on the fate of their (the veterans’) 76-year old WWI memorial.
We had to act quickly! The veterans need to have a voice in what happens to their land, their memorial.
The ACLU is opposing the veterans and actively working to shut them out from this case.

The government, who is supposed to be defending this war memorial, ischoosing to remain silent instead of asking the judge to let theveterans be heard.
This is outrageous, but not surprising.
Ithas been more than 90 days since the national commanders of the VFW,American Legion and Military Order of the Purple Heart asked PresidentObama to help restore the stolen Mojave Desert War Memorial, which wastorn down May 9.
Sadly, their pleas to the President for help have gone unanswered.
But this battle is not over. We will not give up.
Don’t let the ACLU and the government make a backroom deal on the fate of the Mojave Cross without the veterans.
