"Remember, it's a rigged system. It's a rigged election," said Donald Trump in New Hampshire on Saturday.
The stunned recoil in this city suggests this bunker buster went right down the chimney. As the French put it, "Il n'y a que la verite qui blesse." It is only the truth that hurts.
In what sense is the system rigged?
Consider Big Media -- the elite columnists and commentators, the dominant national press, and the national and cable networks, save FOX. Not in this writer's lifetime has there been such blanket hatred and hostility of a presidential candidate of a major party.
"So what?" They reply. "We have a free press!"
But in this election, Big Media have burst out of the closet as an adjunct of the regime and the attack arm of the Clinton campaign, aiming to bring Trump down.
Half a century ago, Theodore White wrote of the power and bias of the "adversary press" that sought to bring down Richard Nixon.
"The power of the press in America," wrote Teddy, "is a primordial one. It sets the agenda of public discussion; and this sweeping power is unrestrained by any law. It determines what people will talk about and think about -- an authority that in other nations is reserved for tyrants, priests, parties and mandarins."
On ABC's "This Week," Newt Gingrich volunteered on Sunday that, "without the unending one-sided assault of the news media, Trump would be beating Hillary by 15 points."
On this one, Newt is right.
With all due respect, as adversaries, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are not terribly formidable. Big Media is the power that sustains the forces of globalism against those of Americanism.
Is the system rigged? Ask yourself.
For half a century, the U.S. Supreme Court has systematically de-Christianized and paganized American society and declared abortion and homosexual marriage constitutional rights.
Where did these unelected jurists get the right to impose their views and values upon us, and remake America in their own secularist image? Was that really the Court's role in the Constitution?
How did we wind up with an all-powerful judicial tyranny in a nation the Founding Fathers created as a democratic republic?
There are more than 11 million illegal immigrants here, with millions more coming. Yet the government consistently refuses to enforce the immigration laws of the United States.
Why should those Americans whose ancestors created, fought, bled and died to preserve America not believe they and their children are being dispossessed of a country that was their patrimony -- and without their consent?
When did the country vote to convert the America we grew up in into the Third World country our descendants will inherit in 2042?
In the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a Congressional majority voted to end discrimination against black folks.
When did we vote to institute pervasive discrimination against white folks, especially white males, with affirmative action, quotas and racial set-asides? Even in blue states like California, affirmative action is routinely rejected in statewide ballots.
Yet it remains regime policy, embedded in the bureaucracy.
In 2015, in the Democratic primaries, the big enthusiastic crowds were all for 75-year-old Socialist senator Bernie Sanders.
We now know, thanks to leaked emails, that not only the superdelegates and the Obama White House but a collaborationist press and the DNC were colluding to deny Sanders any chance at the nomination.
The fix was in. Ask Sanders if he thinks the system is rigged.
If there is an issue upon which Americans agree, it is that they want secure borders and an end to trade policies that have shipped abroad the jobs, and arrested the wages, of working Americans.
Yet in a private speech that netted her $225,000 from Brazilian bankers, Hillary Clinton confided that she dreams of a "common market, with open trade and open borders" from Nome, Alaska, to Patagonia.
That would mean the end of the USA as a unique, sovereign and independent nation. But the American press, whose survival depends upon the big ad dollars of transnational corporations, is more interested in old tapes of the Donald on The Howard Stern Show.
As present, it appears that in 2017, we may get a government headed by Hillary Clinton, and an opposition headed by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.
Is that what the people were hoping for, working for, voting for in the primaries of 2016? Or is this what they were voting against?
Big money and the media power of the establishment elites and the transnationals may well prevail.
And if they do, Middle America -- those who cling to their bibles, bigotries and guns in Barack Obama's depiction, those "deplorables" who are "racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic," who are "not America" and are "irredeemable" in Hillary Clinton's depiction -- will have to accept the new regime.
But that does not mean they must love it, like it or respect it.
Because, in the last analysis, yes, Virginia, the system is rigged.

What a joke!! An opposition comprised of Ryan and McConnell, both of whom declared publicly and on the record this week that Voter Fraud doesn't exist to any great degree in this wonderful Constitutional Republic ,is akin to engaging an Abrams Tank with a pea shooter. We've been speaking to the fraud subject for years and yet the very mention of Voter Role purging, Photo I.D. Requirements, etc. have been obliterated by the Left, while our up front GOPERS run for their rat holes never to be seen or heard from again, regarding the subject. Just wait until Election Day and the day after, when we find out that once again after three election periods of false promises to rectify, that the votes of our Service Members abroad were somehow misdirected to a McDonalds Dempsey Dumpster in Dubai and are now at the bottom of the Persian Gulf. Remember that.!! !A new system was promised by our Fork Tongued Politicians on both sides of the aisle led by Armed Forces Committee Chair ,since retired Sen. Carl Levin and in 2012, it was unserviceable at best. My note to the esteemed Carl Levin regarding his dereliction in that matter, is available upon request. Just remember this when Blondie Bumstead takes the Presidential Baton from the Parasitical Punk on Inauguration Day. We had many chances to make our voices heard prior to this upcoming Rigged Debacle, the most significant of which was Col. Rileys dedicated plan for the March on Washington, to which the majority of us, including myself, punked out. So here we are at the threshold of our Republic's decimation and now what. Reminds me of that worn out, motivational scam used at College orientations, and Sports competitions, QUOTE," I WANT YOU TO LOOK TO YOUR LEFT AND THEN TO YOUR RIGHT. SHORTLY ONE OF THOSE TWO PEOPLE STANDING OR SEATED NEXT TO YOU WILL BE GONE" Guess What! Come Inauguration Day , they both have gone to the Dark Side and only you will be left to stem the tide of revulsion that awaits us. BE READY!!!
ell said Kevin..........and we say it over, and over, and over, over........but insanity creeps in. We make the same error again and again hoping for a different outcome.
The best solution will require an American attitude of:
"I don't give a damn what the media says, I'm going to vote on what "I" view as important, realistic, and offers a potential solution to issues I think important...I can think for myself".
You only think it’s a conspiracy?
Now it's right out there in the open for those who can read...
IF YOU HAD ANY DOUBT THE NEWS SYSTEM WAS RIGGED, THIS MIGHT REMOVE THAT DOUBT:
ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.
CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.
ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney
ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama's Deputy Press SecretaryÂ
ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama's Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood
CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to Clinton 's former Deputy Secretary Tom Nides.
And if that didn't throw the final turd into the punchbowl, the ultra-liberal New York times is owned by Carlos Slim, the richest citizen of MEXICO!
What a great big happy family!
Before you believe everything you read in the newspapers or see on TV -- all these polls and slurs against the Republican candidate -- think about what these billionaire "insiders" have at stake should they lose their crooked "providers" in government. Isn't it time the citizens had a say?
Your move !!!
Now if you want to understand the Electoral Collage you first have to go back to the Founders and take a look at why it was implemented and structured in the first place. The Founders knew the vast difference of the population, the major population centers like Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, and then the rural areas and sectors such as Ohio, up-State New York, and yes - even the rural western part of Massachusetts, and Virginia. Today the country is much larger than it was back then but we still have the same problem. The population is spread out all over the country, but not evenly distributed. The major population centers still out number the people in the rural sections. If we eliminate the Electoral College the four major population areas would always rule over the rest of the country. The people which we now refer to as "Fly-over" country would never have a chance. The Founders knew this and they tried to structure a system that would give the people in those rural areas an equal opportunity to be heard. The problem we have today is that the Electoral College is not treated equally or the same in every state. Some States have a Winner-Take-All electoral College, but other States divide their Electoral votes according to the popular vote proportions, ie, If Trump wins 60% of New York and Hillary wins 40%, then that is how the Electoral Votes are cast.
There are issues with both types of this system. The States where it is a Winner-Takes-All, has a tendency to leave people in Western Mass. out in the cold, Boston and the other major centers rule the entire Electoral Vote. Other States where it is proportional to the popular vote means that the winner of the popular votes may not be the winner of the election. The Electoral College votes will "correct" the popular votes and areas such as Western Mass. and Virginia, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado,,,,, will have an equal opportunity to have their voices heard.
Is it a perfect system? NO,, The problem comes in at the individual States levels. Many States don't even bother to look at the popular votes, but instead simply cast their Electoral College Votes according to the State legislatures. California for example will always vote Democratic simply because the State legislature is mainly Democratic.
Those are the types of things that should be examined and changed if necessary or possible. That would take a Constitutional amendment. and can NOT be done through a regular voting system, even though the States themselves could correct the problems.
Please note that I made no attempt to get the States and their individual voting structures correct, only used them as examples of how it is structured.
Some wise man (I forget who) once said, "Never take down a fence until you find out why it was put up."
The electoral system is corrupt and the more illegals are let in the Democrats will be in power forever. If every vote counted you and others say that would be a decocracy and the majority would rule. Well that's what an election is. The Candidate with the majority of votes, electoral or general population wins. For a Candidate to win the electoral votes and not the general and become President to me is a rigged system. The Dems are trying to reorganize the geography of the electoral college to favor them and this will happen when more illegals are let in.
Please google "electoral college vs. popular vote" and read the pros and cons of both. I think most people who favor doing away with the electoral college and using the popular vote do not realize what the results could be, and then decide if you still want to use popular vote.
As I attended one of the largest revivals on Tuesday night, in theaters all over America, as My Faith Votes (https://www.myfaithvotes.org/) had a Christian gathering in Chicago, ILL and televised it live across theaters everywhere. At this event we learned that 25 million Christians do not vote! I can see this is real, because what I have been experiencing in the church I was baptized in, many are not voting because they don't like Trump, and then we have some that say they would rather vote for Killary then Trump! Kirk Cameron who was the host of this live event, with Dr. Ben Carson talked about faith and how Christians are selling out their Country to evil and those that want to destroy our Judeo/Christian values that this Country was founded on. I blame a lot of this in large part on the preachers, as I know some that will not mention a word at the pulpit about voting or how to choose. These people in these churches are absolutely lost souls, and most don't even realize that our Country is in serious trouble.
Like Ben Carson said America is sick, very sick and she can be revived, but we have to get everyone involved. 25 million Christians who don't vote are a lot of people, and then you have dead people and illegals voting Democrat, that puts us into a very serious position. I watched a DVD recently by Trevor Loudon and it was really good, called "Enemies Within". I took a short segment from this DVD wherein they were talking about our elections and this is scary listening to what they said, as they explained that what is going on right now, they are changing the demographics so Republicans will never again get re-elected into office. This will make it so we only have one party ruling and that is a scary thought. We should not even have any parties, the vote should be on what the person stands for.
Here is a short 12 minute video (segment from that DVD) mention above. I was really hard to listen to what they said, because you know this is what is going on right now with our elections: https://youtu.be/iqzvfCIxqRY
Patricia...........I just posted the following on FB............
Did you hear hypocritical Hillary Clinton during the last presidential debate totally distort and fabricate a story that the U.S. Supreme Court "Heller" case as a "threat to toddlers"...the case had nothing to do with "toddlers" but everything to do with her political opposition to the Second Amendment.
Clinton has no heart for "toddlers", no heart for babies, what she's against is the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. But it gets worse...
She claims she wants to protect "toddlers" but at the same time supports the barbaric procedure of "partial birth abortion" which murders babies exiting the birth canal, as late as days before a viable natural birth.
Every American, certainly every Christian, cannot possibly support a presidential candidate so blatantly "cruel and unusual" as to willingly kill a live baby as it exits the birth canal, which is what "partial birth abortion" accomplishes.
Hillary Clinton reflects the absolute human monstrosity a politician will descend to support a position that provides political advantage...even killing a live, kicking, human baby.
How in God's name can anyone defend this brutal "partial birth abortion" procedure let alone vote for Hillary Clinton, who would select Supreme Court members to defend it.
God help us, have we gone this far into the gutter of hopelessness?
