Under the wise leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the racist, sexist and homophobic United States of America is continuing to make vital progress in the war on discrimination with more affirmative discrimination. Because the goal of every anti-discrimination movement is to discriminate by gaining special privileges.
The new Obama Army is practicing more affirmative discrimination against male and female couples in favor of homosexual couples.
Outgoing Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has unilaterally issued a directive stating that the U.S. military will now extend certain benefits to unmarried domestic partners that were formerly reserved for married couples—but will only do so if the domestic partners certify in writing to the Department of Defense that they are of the same sex.
Heterosexual unmarried partners do not qualify for the benefits—and thus are treated unequally by Panetta’s directive on the basis of their sexual orientation.
It’s almost like the ingredients for the plot of a wacky 70s sitcom. Discrimination is good when it’s progressive discrimination.
Panetta memorandum included a copy of the “declaration” by which homosexual service members will to attest that they are in what Panetta calls a “committed relationship” with another person of the same-sex. The declaration is specifically for homosexuals and does not make any allowance for people of the opposite sex who are engaged in a heterosexual so-called “committed relationship.”
DOD’s “declaration” states that the “definition” of a “domestic partner” is as follows: “Domestic partner means a person in a domestic partnership with a Service member of the same sex.”
America has gone from a military that excluded homosexuals to one that excludes heterosexuals in less than 5 years.

I like this in the sense it is good to know. I was a fan of MASH before I enlisted in the US Army as a Medic and now on METV Klinger was heterosexual. He dressed like he did in most programs because he was trying to get a discharge.But he was NOT a Reprobate. I am offended by suggestion that he is an appropriate image to sell this story. The Panetts memo is as discredited as Panetta is-- He got a political appointment to the Pentagon to purchase his silence concerning his role in the Fast and furious gun running deal with the Mexican drug cartels. He is neither a moral no a Religious man -from what has been published about him -but he is so typical of everyone employed by Obama the Beguiler.

The things that Obama has a habit of doing have nothing to do with fairness or any of that PC B.S., he only follows a simple Marxist plan that was laid out prior to the 1960's. One just needs to read "45 Communist Goals for America" to have your light bulb suddenly glow like never before.
I just don't understand! If homosexual couples are getting military benefits what about couples that have lived together for many years? are they going to get benefits too? it's wrong so very wrong! my husband is retired after 20 years in the US ARMY so I know what I'm talking about when I talk about benefits. it's so very disrespectful to all the men and women who served in the military. marriage is between a man and woman. not between two men or between two women. when is this craziness going to stop! Sodom and Gomorrah! Lord help us!

Curious how long thier "free" pass will last. With just about every Gov't agency having so much information on the GAYS./ same sex marraige...and the Sharia Law taking over alot of government departments and will have access to thier information, we all know what happens to the so-called alternate life styles in Muslam countries.( heads roll so fast, you would think you were in a bowling alley )

So they IMMEDIATELY get preference.
Forget qualifications -- they have them. The job quals are not so important anymore.
